Muslims find faith in Jesus
Call of Hope has been involved in missionary work for decades, and over the course of many years, God made it possible for thousands of Muslims to come to faith in Jesus. Many of them were also baptized – a very courageous step. Unfortunately, former Muslims who have found faith in Jesus Christ are very often marginalized and persecuted by their Muslim relatives and those around them. It is all the more important that they are integrated into a Christian community where they experience support and guidance in growing in their faith.
The Need for Church Planting
Call of Hope does not see church planting as one of its primary tasks. Wherever possible, we work with existing good local Christian communities and refer Muslim converts to them. However, this is not always possible. In some Muslim countries, communities are reluctant to accept Muslim converts for security reasons. In other countries and areas there are simply no churches. In such cases, Call of Hope supports the establishment of an (underground) church and provides theological training to the respective house group and church leaders.
